Pennine way guiding:
walk the Northumberland sections of the Pennine way without the worry of route finding, leaving you to enjoy the local scenery and places of interest.
Off the beaten track:
Let us take you to the side of the Cheviots most walkers don’t see. Using our local knowledge, we can guide you on 1 or multiple day walks along remote paths and over open access land, to see hidden valleys and the places most people can’t get to.
When out in the hills most walkers only marvel at the scenery and completely miss most of the wildlife that surrounds them. We can tailor make your walk to take you to the areas where you are most likely to spot wild animals such as roe deer, stoats, buzzards, and falcons among many others. Your guide will use their local knowledge and techniques to allow you to get as close as possible to these shy animals.
Improve your skills:
We can give you lessons in Navigation, map and compass use, Mountain weather, correct footwork and the correct use of walking poles as well as many other aspects. At Pass and Peak Our aim is to allow you to extend your skills and experience’s in a safe and encouraging environment over terrain and in conditions you might not have encountered before, ultimately making you a safer more independent Mountain walker.

Mountain weather can be unforgiving for the unwary and change quickly. All our walks will be planned with a variety of alternate routes to best match the weather conditions on the day. This allows us the greatest flexibility to give you best experience without compromising on safety.
